Description: Dry medium bodied white wine demonstrating white flowers, apricots, peaches, lime, flint, white pepper and with age, a touch of honey and a hint of nuttiness. The style of Timorasso wines resemble a mix of Chablis and Saviennes due to its high acidity, rich extract, and propensity to develop noble rot and perhaps also the influence of the calcareous soil. Timorasso does not benefit from oak ageing, as its purity, freshness and power emerge perfectly without it. It can be drunk young or cellared for up to a decade. This wine will pair beautifully with lobster, crab, and tilapia dishes.

About the Producer: Oltretorrente is an artisanal family-run boutique winery set atop the smooth hills of the Tortona region in Piedmont. The Oltretorrente estate covers only 3 1/2 hectares where the focus has been the care and conservation of old vines, some of which were planted a century ago. Their objective: to make quality wines that organically embody the history and biodiversity of the land.
