Special Orders

If a wine is out of stock, it is possible to place a special private order at the agent’s discretion by contacting the agent directly. When placing a private order, the customer acknowledges that they are committing to the purchase of the said case of wine. Please allow 10-12 weeks for delivery of Special Orders. You must accept delivery of Private Orders within 30 days of arrival in the LCBO warehouse. Special private orders are non-refundable and are not subject to return (corked bottles permitted).

Payment

Apaprition Wines & Spirits accepts major credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, and Discover) through our website or cash upon delivery. Personal and business cheques will be accepted with prior approval.

Shipping

All courier shipments in the GTA are subject to a flat fee of $15.00 per order. For shipments outside of the GTA, please contact us for more information. We delivery twice a week in the GTA. We deliver to most parts of central Ontario on a weekly basis. For clients living outside of the Toronto area we can also ship wines to an LCBO of your choice at no extra cost. The shipment usually takes 2-4 weeks, but may take up to 8 depending on the business of the season and distance the case must travel.

Returns

Loss or damage of goods should be notified to Apparition Wines immediately. Failure to notify us in due time may result in denial of liability. Corked or otherwise defective wine will be exchanged only if the bottle, including the defective wine, is returned to Apparition Wines within the allowable timeframe set out by the LCBO. All cancellations are subject to a XX.XX restocking fee.

How We Operate

Apparition Wines & Spirits is the exclusive Ontario agent for the wineries we represent. According to LCBO regulations, Apparition Wines does not sell beverage alcohol, but acts as a facilitator in arranging for the purchase and delivery of wine.

The Sale of Alcohol

You must be 19 years of age or older to place or receive a beverage alcohol order. The Wine Agent makes every effort to ensure that alcoholic beverages are not delivered to anyone who is under the age of 19. By using the Website you are acknowledging that the person receiving a shipment of alcoholic beverages from the Wine Agent is 19 years in age or more. If you do not agree with these conditions of use you are prohibited from using the Website. At the time of delivery, proof of age may be required at the discretion of the delivery agent. The delivery agent will not complete the delivery to any person who appears to be intoxicated.
