Campania, Italy

Tenuta San Francesco in Tramonti sits just inland from the beautiful Amalfi Coast. Boasting pre-phyloxera Tintore vines well over 200 yrs old and a Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri Award for the result, their È ISS. Each of their wines is as captivating as the dramatically beautiful landscape they come from. Authentic limited production gems.

In 2004, the S. Francesco farm, part of an ancient estate in Tramonti was brought back to life by the passion of three local families, Bove, D'Avino, and Giordano, to revive an ancient viticultural tradition in honor of their matriarch who has since passed.

The farm extends over about seven hectares and produces wines from the grapes that historically have been of this region. Through the combined utilization of modern equipment and traditional viticultural techniques in which only natural products are used, this winery boasts several beautiful wines and two fine grappas, all of which are true expressions of this extraordinary region.
